Star tours ride at Disneyland is going 3D?

What does this mean anyone do you know?

It was in the local (Orange County, where Anaheim, i.e. DisneyLand is located) paper yesterday.
It's going to be the same motion simulator, but in 3-d, and changed to replicate the Pod Races, amongst other Star Wars scenes.
